Over the years.......Playboy has come up some some ingenious ways to acquire "talent",
most notably from their infamous great Playmate hunts, for the various different milestones
that they passed along the way. From anniversaries celebrating how long they have been
in business, being the most notable. Now the year 2002 wasn't a particularly noteworthy
year as far as anniversaries go......I mean who celebrates a 49th anniversary right? Besides,
those great Playmate hunts, take up quite a few man hours between not just photographers,
but everyone down to even caterers. So hows about a TV show, asking "Who Wants to be a
Playboy Centerfold"? How about that indeed! How successful was that show in acquiring
new talent you may wonder? Out of the dozen girls on that show, 4 went on to not only become
Playmates and grace the centerfold of the magazine, but 2 of them went on to be Playmates of
the Year. I hope the fella that came up with that idea got a bonus! As a matter of fact, this entire
years worth of girls seemed to be a bonus, with each and every one of them making their marks
